When saving files, the file format you choose depends on your end use. If your document is going to be used primarily for print and/or includes hyperlinks, PDF should be used. If images, logos, and documents are going to be used for on-screen presentations (Powerpoint), JPEG should be used. If your document is a web banner, GIF should be used. If images and logos are going to be used in print, EPS should be used.
